Vote Checkmark   Council 57 Delegates serve a two your term.

Lisa Horton Beach
I have been an employee for the Community Services Agency as a Software Developer Analyst for over 26 years. I have been a SCEA/Local 10 board for the past four years and have recently accepted the nomination for another two year term. I have been the chair of our Bylaw/Policy committee for the past couple of years and also serve on several of our other committees. With the pending threats to our contracts and our pensions there has never been a better time for our members to become more involved. Our union is only as strong as its members. I believe that my years of service to this union and to this county qualify me to be a Council 57 Delegate and for that reason I am asking for your vote on February 25th.
Thank you.

I am currently serving as one of your Council 57 Delegates and would be honored to represent you for a second term.  Through my work as president and active involvement with each of our committees I have become intimately familiar with the needs of Local 10.  With your vote, I can continue to advocate on your behalf, build strong relationships with other Council 57 Locals and keep our Local 10 Board informed of the larger regional issues that may affect our members.

Maggie Castilleja
As your current Vice President and Council 57 Delegate it has been an honor to represent my fellow brothers and sisters of AFSCME Local 10. I was elected in 2014 and have to say that I have learned a lot in the past two years! I have grown as a member, delegate, and proud representative of our Union.

As a representative, I have ensured my brothers and sisters are provided the resources thru Council 57 to develop, empower, unify, guide, and support the work of our Union. Helping our members to improve the working conditions and environment which we work in, and benefiting the proud middle class of working families standing together.

I am also entrusted to ensure that our Local’s voice, position, and concerns on vital issues that affect us all, are presented to Council 57 for their assistance. I have also been elected as a Board member by fellow Locals of Council 57 I am afforded the opportunity to ensure Council 57 is providing the resources, support and meeting the needs of all Locals who are under this umbrella.

I am dedicated and have not missed a Council 57 delegates meeting during my term thus far, and ask that you entrust in me again to continue as a Council 57 Delegate. I assure you that I will continue to be the eyes, ears and voice of my fellow Union brothers and sisters.

In Unity,
Maggie Castilleja
